Water & Sewer

Somers Chase operates its own community-wide water supply and waste water treatment facilities. Physical operation and maintenance of the facilities are provided by a contracted operator, who is also responsible for providing all tests and system monitoring as required by government health agencies. Residents are billed quarterly, and separate payments are to be made to the Somers Chase Water Company and the Somers Chase Sewer Company. Annual budgets and adjustments in the water and sewer rates are adopted by the SCHOA Board of Directors in the spring of each year, prior to the spring quarter billing cycle.

Trash is removed by private companies. Contact City Carting to arrange for service. Trash is usually picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays but is subject to your service agreement.
